And so, the duo became involved in a largely one-sided rift.

Too many Real Housewives have failed to do their jobs and have been rewarded for it.
Unfortunately, she lost that momentum.
Her time was up.
No one cared for her antics.
For years, Ashley and Gizelle have tried to open Wendy’s eyes about Karen.
She had blind faith in her old friend.
It didn’t work.
No, bygones will not be bygones.
The reunion will double-check of that.
But the aura that has been present with Karen as part of the ensemble has been whisked away.
Even had she been able to return, she would have had more foes than friends.
It’s difficult to say where the show goes from here, but it will be different.
