Sure,The White Lotushas always been centered around death, as previously mentioned.
What makes the teaser even more horrific is Zions fear for his mother.

He prays to any supernatural powers who will listen to protect his mother before discovering a body floating.
Armond and Tanyas Deaths Were Justified
Armond andTanya were interesting characters.
Likewise,Tanyas death is dripping with ironyand a sense of fulfillment.

She wonders about death during Season 1, calling it the only immersive experience she hasnt tried.
Thus, bringing her life to an end is completely profound.
But theres a heavy sense of dramatic irony in this as well.
The White Lotus is a television series that explores the interactions of guests and staff at an upscale tropical resort. Premiering in 2021, the narrative unfolds over a week, revealing underlying complexities and tensions among the resort’s seemingly ideal travelers and employees.
Tanya spends the finale fighting for her life, only to lose it by slipping off a boat.
It only makes sense her life would end in this fashion.
After all, shes a fan favorite who has known amazing heights and difficult struggles.
However,she has vast differences that prove she deserves to survive the season.
Whileevery character on the show is deeply flawed, Belinda is an anomaly.
In fact,the only sin shes guilty of is trusting Tanya, despite warnings.
Throughout Season 1, she is Tanyas onlyrealcompanion.
This is especially true considering whatwe now know about Greg (Jon Gries).
For now, viewers will just have to wait and see what Season 3 brings.
