Meanwhile, Rand visits a nearby mountain with Selene.

But Egwene isnt the only channeler the Seanchan have caught.

To protect his friend, Mat chooses not to go, abandoning Rand without telling him.
After drinking it,Mat sees versions of himselfhanging and committing murders.
Meanwhile, his mothers insult rings in his ears as she says he is just like his father.
However, Anvaere overhears and stops him, turning in her own son.
Lanfear intervenes, attacking Siuan and opening the Waygate herself.
Alone on the beaches of Falme,Lan asks Moiraine to restore their bond, and they reconcile.

Simultaneously, Nynaeve and Elayne enact their plan to find Egwene, with Nynaeve disguising herself as a sul’dam.
Meanwhile, Perrin and the Aiel arrive and run into Ingtar and Loial, who have procured the Horn.
As they run through the streets of Falme, Ingtar sacrifices himself so the others can get away.

Eventually, Perrin runs into Mat.
Perrin sends Mat and the Horn to Rand while he, Loial, and the Aiel stop their pursuers.
Egwene uses Renna’s own methods of torment, demanding the sul’dam release her.

Confronted by Ishamael, Rand refuses to turn to the Shadow.
The spear goes through him and stabs Rand, fulfilling Min’s vision.
Rand falls, but Egwene recovers enough to protect Mat and Rand from Ishamael.

Ishamael nearly overpowers Egwene just as Perrin appears to help her.
Nynaeve and Elayne reach the others, andElayne heals Randas best she can of his wound.
