After heavy speculation, it’s looking like The Lizard will be the villain in Marc Webb’s upcomingSpider-Manreboot.
So I can at least feel a sigh of relief due to that character’s omission.

CL
Connors accidentally became The Lizard during an experiment in which he attempted to re-grow his amputated arm.
Connors was played inSpider-Man2and3by Dylan Baker.
The untitledSpider-Manreboot is set to be released in 3D on July 3, 2012.
Unsurprisingly, details on the upcoming reboot are being kept under tight wraps.
However, the budget is rumored to be around$80 million.
The film will also reportedly be set in high school and be"gritty" and “contemporary”.
He eventually became obsessed with uncovering the secrets of reptilian regeneration, and studied reptilian biology extensively.
From his home in the Everglades, he finally determined a serum taken from the DNA of a reptile.
Connors ingested it, and his arm did indeed grow back.
Unfortunately, it had one side effect: Connors was subsequently transformed into a reptilian monster!
