He has to come to some sort of peace with it, and the storyline ends the way itshould.
Mona isn’t let off the hook.
It’s harsh, yes, but she passes away knowing that her actions scarred Homer irreparably.
Which brings us to “The Man Who Flew Too Much.”
He replies, “I am, Mommy.
Take me to the good place.”
“Mona Leaves-a” ended the relationship on the right note.
“The Man Who Flew Too Much” didn’t need to add the exclamation mark.
