Moviegoers will experience the art of war this April in the upcoming filmWarfare.
Written and directed byCivil WardirectorAlex Garlandin collaboration withRay Mendoza,Warfaretakes viewers into an Iraqi war zone in 2006.

They also feature a distinct filter reminiscent of the 2000s battlefields.
OP-1 consists ofAdain Bradley(Wrong Turn) as Sgt.
The cast ofWarfarewent toa three-week boot campand filmed the movie in five weeks.
Mendoza is an Iraqi War veteran who shared his process of crafting the characters.
“I interviewed these [real] guys and talked about, ‘How did you feel?
What were you thinking?’
Even some of the regrets that we have from that day,” he toldEntertainment Weekly.
Warfaredebuts in theaters on April 11.
