Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her younger sister find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it’s too late.
And when the children start to talk about the Boogeyman, Lester ignores their claims.
Savage also highlights one of the most impressive jump scares he’s ever since.
Above everything else, the film is not nearly as scary as the short story.
Kings original story is frightening because the Boogeyman is only suggested instead of being present the whole time.
While SavagesThe Boogeymanis not as scary as Kings short story, the movie is still a solid horror flick.
