This version of the story is grittier and more straightforwardly action-oriented than the 1975 movie.
They burst at the seams with exploding cars, menacing weapons, and visual pyrotechnics.

The end result is some reasonably entertaining ‘switch off your brain’ carnage.
Broker is a mix of fatherly protectiveness and calculated ferocity, using brutal tactics to defend his family.
These kinds of characters lend themselves well to action entertainment.
Unfortunately, some storytelling dullness and generic fight scenes underminea lot ofHomefront’s potential.
