This is one of the many reasons thatThe Killingstood out among other crime dramas of its time.
Another outlier was the show’s protagonist.
Somehow, Terry has an equally iron-clad alibi for the time of the crime.
Although the storytelling stands on its own,The Outsideris massively bolstered by its exceptional cast.
The slow burn of the series pairs perfectly with the ominous mood and sparse, violent accents.
