Different races of humanoids tended to prefer particular weapons.
The dwarves preferred axes, for example, while the elves preferred swords and bows.

She participates in theBattle of Pelennor Fieldsand kills many orcs, even besting an oliphaunt in the movie.
That alone speaks to her ability with a sword.

Aragorn’s fighting style is rough and brutish, utilizinga two-handed grip and lots of overhanded, heavy-hitting strikes.
Out of all the characters that have appeared in the films, Aragorn isby far the best swordsman.
Not many elves could single-handedly stand a chance against a balrog.
Yet, Feanor was also known for his selfishness and pride because he knew how good he was.
This vanity allowed the darkness to creep into his mind, which ultimately proved to be his undoing.

Like many of the finest swordsmen in Arda, Eonwe had a long list of feats under his belt.
