She’s there for the entire spider bite sequence and stays with Peter the whole way through.

Her bond with the teen is also well-established through conversations about Uncle Ben and growing up.
Thankfully, though, it won’t be the same thing audiences have seen in the past.
While it may be peculiar, that could be the very reason she’s a great character.
