Like I mentioned earlier, there’s really no competition between first place and the rest here.
Best Opening Weekend: International
Here’s where things get interesting.
The international movie market has been growing and growing over the last 20 years or so.
(I’m looking at you,Warcraft.)
However, this is still the 21st best foreign opening performance ever.
Will they be enough to surpass the other films that are ahead of them?
Time will tell, and we’ll update them as they change.
But what’s important to notice here is thatWonder Womanreigns atop the domestic superhero box office for 2017!
And it’s quite cool that we’ve already had three different winners in five categories.
Expect the sequel to break through this ceiling.
Best Overall Box Office (to Date): International
It’s Spidey’s turn!
Well it’s quietly been building a massive box office all year long.
I expectThorto passWonder Womansoon, but Spidey may be out of reach.
