Athena was somewhat delusional, refusing to be picked on and constantly overreacted while hanging out with the ladies.
Kind of reminded me ofAviva DrescherfromReal Housewives of New York.
Shes pretentious and thinks shes the Queen Bee of Sydney.
Nicole was the only housewife that was level-headed compared to the other hot messes.
Regardless of the top-tier cast,the show was put on pause after it’s first season.
It seems all the toxicity wasn’t a hit with the Aussies.
One iconic feud from the season wasDr.
Kate and Victoria over her high-end fur business.
Let’s preface this by saying Dr. Kate is a veterinarian.
Victoria wore her recycled fur on Kates planned nature retreat, which included a tour of an animal sanctuary.
Of course, in Real Housewives fashion, the argument happened in the Sprinter van.
Kate berates Victoria for wearing fur to an animal sanctuary, telling her to remove the garment.
Victoria agreed but never heard the end of it.
Kate really made sure to make Victoria pay for it.
Although Dr. Kate was cutthroat, it made for great TV.
Also, let’s take a moment and admire Sydney itself.
The show does a great job atshowcasing the beauty and luxury of the city.
We get a mix of bothmetropolitan magic and the beautiful Aussie coastlines.
It looks likewell get to see a familiar face this season.
She’ll bring both the class and the sass.
