The first iteration of The Prowler was named Hobart “Hobie” Brown, a Bronx-born African-American teenager.
(The Prowler even killed the supervillain known as The Tinkerer to keep Miles' secret safe.)
The modern versions of The Prowler, however, get a little more nuanced.
