We are told that the kindness reforms were genuine implementations by Milchick, not Lumon being wholly manipulative.

It is thoroughly impressive when a show can make you love to hate someone.

It’s even more impressive when it can make you start to feel sympathy for them.

I thought I was settled on him.

He was entertaining but nefarious in his intentions.

He is far more sympathetic than I originally thought.
