That being said, viewers learned that Shamea had a long-standing friendship withKandi Burruss.
Over time, some might say that Kandi was always the better friend to Shamea.
And it allstarts and ends with Shamea’s engagement party and wedding.
Season 9 was truly a turning point forThe Real Housewives of Atlanta.
That’s not bestie conduct.
But, at the time,all Shamea could do was laugh.
So, maybe it wasn’t as big of a deal after all.

Step into the room, pass off a gift, take a photo, and go.
It’s the gesture that matters.
Not showing up is a sign of betrayal.
Surely,one of the girls could have helped Porsha foot the billto make Shamea’s wedding a reality.
And when she did, Porsha dismissed it.
Again, not bestie behavior.
But, as we’ve learned, time heals most wounds.
Shamea knows that being on equal footing may allow for a different dynamic between them.
But like any friendships, there are ups and downs.
