Nevertheless,here are ten of reality television’s wasted characters.

‘Big Brother’
Not every Houseguest is meant to playBig Brother.
For whatever reason, whenDavid Alexanderfirst entered theBBhouse, he was simply a waste.
Then, when the opportunity arose that he could reenter the game, he botched his chance.
Sadly, David Alexander is remembered for all the wrong reasons.
It’s not because she was a bad player.
Not even the slightest.
But she’s on this list because the editors did her dirty.

She wasn’t the biggest or loudest personality on the island, but Erika deservedly won.
The jury awarded her.
We all know that tune from the theme song ofThe Facts of Life.
The core cast from the 80s sitcom became household names.
But reality television seemed to be the last frontier Fields needed to conquer.
Unfortunately, what they got was a wonderful woman who was out of her league.
Fields was unwilling to feed into the drama.
She was unwilling to allow lies to be spread about her.
She wasn’t even willing to play along with the rules.

She may have felt thatThe Real Housewives of Atlantawas a sweet docu-follow show about her life.
A true waste of a television star.
For Season 5,RHOBHintroduced two soap opera legends.
One had a massive reputation already:Lisa Rinna.
The other was well-known in the world of daytime:Eileen Davidson.
Not saying she wasn’t a delight to watch, she was a supporting player to the plot.

It is another wasted opportunity for a woman with immense potential to learn about.
Not a bad thing, just a thing.
And when he did, it was a narrative of the queer experience.
He was only given two seasons to share his story beforeSummer Housechanged direction.
He was a brilliant and unique character, but the series wasted his potential.
Perhaps Stephen McGee would have been suited had the show opted for a gay spin-off set on Fire Island.
But alas, we’re still waiting for that cesspool of drama to be greenlit!
Season 2 had a quartet of Bravolebrities fromThe Real Housewives.
Two of them from the same franchise!

Whitfield’s gameplay was virtually nonexistent.
When it comes to hosting talent competition shows, it requires a bit of flash and pizzazz.
They were a perfect match.
His personality shines through.
Carson Daly is completely outshined by the coaches.
That’s why viewers tune in.

Rarely does he add commentary.
It’s sad to say, butThe Voicecould easily exist if Carson Daly randomly disappeared completely.
It’s almost as if Carson Daly has been softened as the years roll on.
The biggest wasted opportunity in the history ofRHONJwas Kathy’s sister,Rosie Pierri.
Cousin Rosie was beloved by the fans.
The cousin toTeresa GiudiceandJoe Gorgawas a tell-it-like-it-is woman who wore her heart on her sleeve.
But again, there was no room for her in the makeup of the show at the time.
Because Kathy was pushed aside in an unfortunate manner, it meant Rosie departed the series prematurely.
If there ever was a supporting star who deserved their own spin-off, it was Rosie Pierri.

Such was the case forTony Dovolani.
Dovolani was incredibly talented.
He was brought into the cast during Season 2, remaining until Season 22.
The problem for Dovolani was whoDWTSpartnered him with.
Tony Dovolani was much better than the fans gave him credit for.
No, he wasn’t the hot young guy in the bunch.
Tony Dovolani’s talent is much better than his track record.
At the top of the season,Meili Workmanwas announced as a “Friend of” for the season.
She was a close confidant ofWhitney Rose.
And suddenly, out of nowhere, she disappeared.
Like literally just gone.
No longer at the major events.
Not on the sprinter van in Puerto Vallarta.
UnlikeBritani Bateman, Meili wasn’t even invited to the reunion!
At least she’s pretty!
