MOORE: You know, our process kind of doesnt change movie to movie.
MOORE: Yeah, and not because we dont care, but because we care about everything equally.
But this one was special.

And we wanted to confirm we did right by the character.
A lot of your projects contain some of the most personal stakes in the MCU.
Its always about, Whats the story for the character?

And even the secondary characters.
You cant leave them behind either, right?
Everybody has to be speaking to the same theme.

But I dont think any action is meaningful unless you care about the character.
So, again, we have a go at build it inside out.
Were not always successful, but thats our intent.
Hopefully, thats why people keep coming back to these moviesto go to the characters.

Something I really appreciate about the projects you work on is that theyre so coherent in the creators visions.
Why is that important to you, especially in a franchise where theres so much planning and oversight involved?
MOORE: Its super exciting!
In that first film, I think he surprised a lot of people.
What Does Nate Moore Want To See From Anthony Mackie During His Captain America Tenure?
So, what are you most excited to see from him?
He can be funny, he can be dramatic, he can be emotional, hes great at stunts.
Its fun to build action around him because he can do a lot of it himself.
MOORE: To your point, we always want our movies to feel distinct.
But I do think Captain America lends itself as a franchise to sort of the political thriller genre.
MOORE: Thats a great question!
Im not sure he has a decision, to be quite honest.
Sometimes, trouble finds you.
Hes a counselor first.
I think thats why it makes him a special Captain America.
Yeah, I agree.
Whats going on withArmor Wars?
Can you give us any information about that?
MOORE: You know,thats not my project, to be honest.
So that means we had to slow down some things that were on the front burner.
And have you guys figured out what that role is going to be yet?
Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan team up to take on vampires.
I’m excited for that.
None of it’s true, which is fine.
I think it speaks to people’s passion for the property, which is great.
And I couldn’t be more excited for whatPanther 3could be.
Can you tell us anything about your next non-MCU movie?
But I am excited to make other kinds of films, other sizes of films.
Hopefully, I can make things that are as impactful as the things I’ve worked on so far.
