Little House on the Prairieis coming back thanks to Netflix.

According toDeadline, the streaming platform is currently working on a new version of the popular television series.

The studio has selectedRebecca Sonnenshineas the showrunner for the new version ofLittle House on the Prairie.

Matthew Labyorteaux as Albert Ingalls, Melissa Gilbert as Laura Ingalls Wilder, Michael Landon as Charles Ingalls, Karen Grassle as Caroline Ingalls, Dean Butler as Almanzo Wilder, Lindsay Sidney Greenbush as Carrie Ingalls, Melissa Sue Anderson as Mary Ingalls Kendall, and Linwood Boomer as Adam Kendall on the set of ‘Little House on the Prairie.'

The series ran over the course of nine seasons before it was brought to a close in 1983.

It’s time for the Ingalls family to be seen on the screen once again.

Time will tell ifLittle House on the Prairiewill become a major hit for Netflix.

A release date for the new version ofLittle House on the Prairiehasn’t been set by Netflix.

The original series is currently streaming on Prime Video and Peacock.
