Day in the life stories are a well-worn genre in filmmaking, but they work for a reason.
It all begins with Fena out at a party.

A bit flustered, Fena soon learns that he is back in the area as his mother is sick.
The night continues on and the two end up sleeping together.
Some of this is rather awkward like when Fena takes a sudden fall while jumping a subway turnstile.

He wasnt able to pay because, in another clunky scene, his wallet got locked inside an apartment.
However, much of the dialogue is written in a stilted manner that lacks any sort of subtlety.
Even as all the cast try their hardest to make it sound natural, it still falls increasingly flat.
Showing in a story how casual yet still cruel transphobia can be is well-intentioned.
