I have a love/hate relationship with theJurassic Worldfranchise.
On the one hand, it’s fun to see dinosaurs chasing people or occasionally eating them.
But on the other hand,I feel like this franchise has never quite lived up to its potential.

Jurassic World: Dominionmight be the biggest offender, though.
(The less said about thegiant locusts, the better.)
Why is this exciting, you might ask?
Jurassic World Rebirth explores the revival of dinosaur attractions with advanced genetic engineering and immersive experiences. As scientists and park staff grapple with ethical dilemmas and unexpected challenges, the balance between human ambition and nature’s unpredictability is tested, leading to unforeseen consequences that impact both the prehistoric creatures and their creators.
It’s no surprise that other inspirations include the Xenomorph fromAlienand the iconic T.rex from the firstJurassic Park.
Edwards could even save the revelation of more hybrids for the end ofRebirth, leading to more sequels.
To once again quote Malcolm: “Life finds a way.”
A T-rex in San Diego is cinematic gold, and I’m tired of pretending it’s not.
After all, cloning is a thing, so mutant dinosaurs shouldn’t be too big of a leap.
After all, who could get bored by a massive mutant dinosaur?
