Well, thats 1992sToys, the surrealist comedy that markedJamie Foxxs movie debut.

In a nutshell, the film is part comedy, part social commentary, and 100%visually over-the-top.

It has aWilly Wonka-esque touch thats as deceptive as it is earnest.

Behind the conflict in the film is the idea that childhood can somehow be weaponized.

Toysserves as the perfect metaphor for how big businesses leech on themagic of childhood.

A clear example of this is the way the factory transforms throughout the movie.

But once General Levo takes over, they swap those out for tiny drones and automated soldiers.

However,Toysproved to be full of surprises… besides its sporadic plot.

Again, its a small moment but hiscomedic timingshone through making it a memorable one.

Michael Mann’s neo-noir thriller saw comedian Jamie Foxx match wits opposite a rare villainous turn by Tom Cruise.

Whats even more impressive is the way Foxx blends seamlessly intoToysbizarre world.

However, Foxx rolled with it effortlessly.
