I think there was always an intention to do three films, Dockery revealed.
I think the trilogy of films was an intention.
Downton Abbey 3 brings back the beloved Crawley family and their servants as they navigate new challenges and adventures in the 1930s. Following the events of A New Era, the Crawleys face evolving societal changes and personal upheavals.
But no, Im not entirely sure.
I guess that was what was thought of initially.
But its amazing that we got to do that many films.
But this time around, I thinkwe really relished every minute.
It being the last, it felt really, really special.
