The standout scene comes when Nolan stumbles upon Leo’s pimp abusing him and shouts “Hey!

Leave him alone!”

Once again,Williams deserves much of the creditin these scenes.

Actor Gene Hackman as Senator Kevin Keeley in The Birdcage, sat under a yellow parasol and holding a book called Coalition for Moral Order.

These scenes wouldn’t hit as hard as they do without Williams' facial expressions.

This movie is not about me, but I really understand that character."

The late great actor could be funny without even breaking a sweat.
