All the contestants weve had over the years have been lovely and full of questions and just really curious.
I had never been on a show like this, she says.
Theyve been saying its so much easier to guess at home.
They thought it would be easy.
They know how to bake; thats why they’re here, but can they follow the clues?
But when youve only got those two minutes,andyouve got to find the clues?
In a unique cooking competition, teams of bakers must piece together clues left in a kitchen to identify and recreate a mystery dessert. Each episode presents the contestants with a series of challenges, where they inspect ingredient remnants and cooking utensils to infer the recipe. The recreated desserts are then judged based on their similarity to the original. The show combines elements of detective work with baking expertise, as teams are progressively eliminated until one remains as the champion.
You get that real adrenaline-pumping panic mode happening, and youve got to try and stay calm.
Thats quite different when youre here.
Its a good combo, he says.
I want [everyone] to know how much fing food I eat, he says.
Everyone goes, You dont eat any of it!
But everyone’s like, You don’t eat any!
so I wish they had a sidetrack of how much I eat.
Theyre completing each others sentences and stuff like that.
The Crime Scene Kitchen star also discusses his newest collaboration with one of Americas most iconic brands.
Hes constantly figuring out the local delicacies, ordering it for us.
Theres a lot of laughs that you dont see and a lot of eating that you dont see.
