For the most part, no.

All in all,this group of nine movies is remarkably strong.

Not all of them are genuinely among the best films of 2013, but they are undeniably great movies.

The last year of the 2000s cemented everything that the decade meant for cinema.

Whatever the case, some phenomenal films were released during this year.

Some received Oscar love, while others, likeInterstellarandEx Machina, missed out on Best Picture nods.

It wasa pretty solid start to a new decadein terms of movies.

This year is more, far more, than justthe Oscar ceremony infamous for theMoonlight/La La Landmixup fiasco.

Throughout the 2010s, there was no Best Picture Oscar nominee lineup more consistently great than this one.
