All that aside, the death of White Tiger feels premature andlike a major missed opportunity.
The series killed off the character beforewe got the chance to see what he could do.
However,the series never properly showcasesWhite Tiger fully costumed and in action.

The series implies that Hector Ayala gains superpowers from his magical amulet.
We see the amulet, butwe never see Hector using these superpowers.
We hear witness testimonials during White Tiger’s trial, where he is accused of murderinga corrupt NYPD officer.
Yet, where is the White Tiger in action?
How does an experienced, well-trained, super-powered vigilante get caught off guard so easily?
However, his death unfolds in a much more realistic, believable fashion.

Ultimately, in hindsight,the White Tiger role itself is a great tribute to the late veteran thespian.
In the comics, Angela inherits her uncle’s Amulets of Power, andshe becomes the new White Tiger.
After Charlie Cox’s cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home and supporting role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Daredevil: Born Again gives Matt Murdock his first show set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil: Born Again continues the story that started in Netflix’s three-season Daredevil series and sees Wilson Fisk ascend to mayor of New York City.
While Hector Ayala is gone, it appears the story of White Tiger is far from over.
