The Collider Video Team of Dennis Tzeng and Wendy Lee sit down with directorsJoeandAnthony Russoto talk about their latest Marvel blockbuster:Captain America: Civil War!
In their exclusive interview with the Russo Brothers, Dennis and Wendy discuss how much biggerCivil Waris compared to the Russo’s last Marvel movie,Captain America: Winter Soldier.
The directors commented that almost every aspect of the movie is a lot bigger now; even with the actors.
The Russos give a special shout out to the casting, which they say is the most important aspect and one that Marvel does very well.
The Russos comment on how big a fan they are of Marvel, and the comics from which they are based.
And for the fans out there who are worried about the trailers showing too much, the Russos elaborate on the “airport battle” scene that shows the two sides coming to blows in an all out fight.

With their hyper-realistic fighting style, which was complimented on by Dennis, the Russos discuss how they wanted to make the action much bigger in this movie; something that everyone agrees was accomplished.
The interview leads into a lot of different aspects from the film, to the filmmaking all the way to howTom Holland’s Spider-Man was included in the movie; with a discussion on the other major new character introduced in the Marvel Universe,Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther.

But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.
The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two campsone led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Starks surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
