Hawkins and Flueger have revealed thatboth their characters weren’t interested in a promotionat this point in time.
“Its just more eyes on you.
I think hes happy to be where he is.
It may be better pay, but more responsibility, too.
When youre a detective, you dont chase people down.
You dont get into gunplay, you initiate the scene.
I think hes fine where he is,” Flueger said regarding Ruzek taking on the role.
