Not far away, the heartbroken symbiote spots Parker’s rival, Eddie Brock, about to commit suicide.
Sensing a kindred pain of rejection between them, the symbiote jumps and bonds to Brock.
To make matters worse, an assassin hired by Wilson Fisk shoots Peter’s Aunt May in their motel.
Mary Jane calls an ambulance, butPeter realizes there’s no time to lose.
Peter, enraged, dons the cloth Black Suit again in a symbolic transformation of the hero.
Attaching to Parker’s motorbike,the symbiote follows himhome.
Almost immediately, Peter realizes thathis suit has completely turned black and his powers have also been enhanced.

However, Peter’sdemeanor begins to change.
Things spiral out of control, andPeter finally decides the symbiote’s influence is changing his lifefor the worse.
Strange’s spell sends him back to his universe.
However, a small sliver of the Venom Symbiote is left behind.
