He’s a sinister money launderer of presumably English origin and unfathomable wealth.
Despite his crimes, Varga is never formally brought to justice.
Whether he faces punishment at the end of the series is left to interpretation.
Crime is as natural a part of their lifestyle as marriage and raising a family.
He’s as ruthless as they come.

Fans have long speculated thatPaulie may have even set up Tonyalong with Patsy.
Whether this is true remains a hotly debated topic.
Regardless, Paulie is unscathed at the end of the series.
Amused, and slightly curious, they entertain his offer.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, tragedy and chaos follow the Byrdes wherever they go.
The Byrde family is directly and indirectly responsible for countless deaths and tragedies.
