Throughout history, there have been many films famous for having well-written, complex character arcs.

What start out as five teen movie cliches reach the credits as full-fledged, beautifully layered characters.

It’s precisely because their character development is realistic that these three films are so beloved.

Many of these payoffs arepresent in the form of character arcs that come to a perfect pinnacle and conclusion.

Whether it is or isn’t a superior film is, of course, up for debate.
