HBO has picked up the Scorsese-produced “Boardwalk Empire” for 11 episodes. If this news doesn’t make you say “fuck yes! “, especially after reading that little plot synopsis, then you really,really suck. CL you’re free to get the full details after the jump. Knowing that their latest recruit is Scorsese makes me want this series to come out as soon as possible. I’m also glad to see Steve Buscemi getting a chance to shine....

I know I’ve seen that hideous, Korean-stomping beast before…Oh, right. 2006’s acclaimed monster movie from Bong Joon-Ho, “The Host”. You think I’d remember something like that. CL See, other countries do it too. They stopped their tanks to that one guy could cross the street. 

So what does that mean for your favorite characters and their upcoming films? The “Iron Man” sequel is still coming next summer. “Thor” and “Captain America” will still be the next films. CL What everyone has to remember is Marvel has existing contracts with the Hollywood studios for some of their properties. What will be interesting to see is how this deal effects the way Marvel makes their movies. I really hope Disney is going to keep the system as is....

David Fincher raises expectations. Button was born in 1918, and was born an old man. But the further along Benjamin goes in life, the more it becomes apparent he’s aging backwards.
