A new reportDeadline, advances said heresay and ups the ante by about a million chips. For speculation on the future of two of the biggest superhero franchises on the planet, hit the break. Nolan’s involvement is surely a sign, however, that the studio has hope for the franchise. CL Superman is, of course, one of the most recognizable superhero brands on the planet. The sequel is now closer to fruition than before, but perhaps only marginally so....

Says Lerman: “It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course. CL I’d love to focus on the human element a little bit more. It’d be such a fun experience.” A bit more than Raimi and Maguire did? Or more than your focus on action scenes? Sony has set the bar even higher than it was back in 2002 when they released the firstSpider-Manmovie....

Taking on a role that’s sure to give her plenty of risque material to work with, Zooey Deschanel has signed on to star in an HBO pilot based on groupie extraordinaire Pamela Des Barres' bookI’m With the Band: Confessions of a Groupie, according toDeadline. Des Barres' adventures on the rock ‘n’ roll road included - according to her, at least - sexual exploits with Mick Jagger, Keith Moon, Jimmy Page and Gram Parsons, and the oddest of all, even Don Johnson, too....

Well surrogacy isn’t sounding too bad. This movie feels like the Cliff’s Notes of an actual movie.  As if we were given bullet points of main action and then it’s done....

Basically, he’s in favor of it: “I think it’s a good idea, personally. I think that, after a while, things feel a little ‘the same.’ You feel ‘well, it’s like the one I saw.’ CL Naturally, a lot of the fans are saying, ‘No! We don’t want to change!’ But they always say that. I think, when it comes out, it’s going to be great! And I’ll have a cameo, so how bad can it be?...

(500) Days of Summerdirector Marc Webb may be taking over for Sam Raimi on theSpider-Manreboot. The overly lengthy timeframe is most likely due in part to the fact Sony is looking to shootSpider-Manin 3D. This is the good part. CL Yes, it pains me to make the comparison, butSpider-Manis starting to sound a little likeTwilight. Adding to this is the fact the recent cartoon series;The Spectacular Spider-Manalso portrays Parker in high school....
